Easy access via parking lot and street parking. Great views along the Hudson with a view of NYC in the distance. A number of benches to take a break as well as wide walkways for the kids, strollers and pets. Stop and have a cocktail at either the Farmer and the Fish or the River market.
Stone Barns Farm Loop is a 2.3 mile moderately trafficked loop trail located near Tarrytown, New York that offers scenic views and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for walking and is accessible year-round. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash. This popular historic farm is a local favorite with free curbside parking and a weekend pay-for lot. The paths are wide gentle gravel inclines, great for walking, running, and snowshoeing. Highlights include a working farm, cafe, gardens, animals, rolling hills, vistas, and child friendly activities. This loop connects with other well marked trails in the preserve.

Designed in 1838 by Alexander Jackson Davis, its architectural brilliance is complemented by the park-like landscape of the estate and a comprehensive collection of original decorative arts. Its noteworthy occupants included: former New York City mayor William Paulding, merchant George Merritt, and railroad tycoon Jay Gould. Lyndhurst is a site of the National Trust for Historic Preservation.
