We're excited to celebrate with you!

On September 16th, 2020, Naomi took a spontaneous trip to Alaska to visit her family due to her college being moved online because of the pandemic. Just one year before this, Ben and his family also moved back to Alaska after 15 years of living in British Columbia, Canada. They met for the first time at church and had no idea what was in store for them. They had noticed that there was something special about one another but it took a few months before Ben had the courage to officially start talking to Naomi. Once she flew back to Wisconsin, her and Ben stayed in touch via text and lots...and lots of Facetime. In February of 2021, Ben felt it was time for him to visit Naomi in Wisconsin where he would then ask her dad if he could date her. Thankfully, he said yes! They started dating and Naomi flew back to Alaska with Ben where she would live with her family for the next 6 months so that they could be together and grow their relationship. They had many, many adventures together and they continued to find out how compatible they were. In August of that year, after going back to Wisconsin together, Ben asked Naomi if she would marry him. She happily said yes! The next step was for Ben to move down to Wisconsin while Naomi was in nursing school. He packed up all of his stuff and drove 4,096 miles from Kasilof, Alaska all the way to Coleman, Wisconsin. Since then, they have been growing in their love for God and in their love for each other. They give all the credit to God for bringing them together and have no doubt that He designed them to be together. They are excited for yet another wonderful adventure together and can't wait for you to join them!
