AUGUST 12 WEDDING!
AUGUST 13 Explore Lima.
AUGUST 14 Fly over Nazca Lines & visit the Huacachina Oasis.
AUGUST 15 Sail around the Ballestas Islands, in Paracas National Reserve, to observe sea lions, pelicans, penguins, & more!
AUGUST 16 Travel to Puno & adjust to altitude, 12,556 feet!
AUGUST 17 Tour the floating Uros Islands on Lake Titicaca & explore the archaeological ruins on Taquile Island.
AUGUST 18 Travel from Puno to Cusco with several stops on the way. Church of San Pedro de Andahuaylillas from the 17th century decorated with beautiful murals. The archaeological site of Raqchi, an Inca sanctuary built by Pachacutec after his victory over the Chancas Nation. Pucara, well-know for the pre-Inca Pucara culture.
AUGUST 19 Tour the Lost City of Machu Picchu!
AUGUST 20 Tour the Rainbow Mountain!
AUGUST 21 Tour Cusco including Sacsayhuaman, Pucapucara, Koricancha temple, & more. Back to Lima.
AUGUST 22 Fly back to U.S.
