Naomi and I grew up in the same area, with many overlapping friends, but, due to social differences, calling us aquaintences would've been a stretch. That all changed in the summer of 2019 when close mutual friends invited us to a weekly game night. Those game nights gave us the opportunity to offically meet and get to know each other.

The transition from hanging out to dating was very different for each of us. While I had liked Naomi for almost a year before asking her out to coffee, Naomi was definetly taken by suprise. Nevertheless, on November 22, 2020, Naomi and I went out to get chai lattes and go for a walk for our first date. Needless to say, it went well.

It didn't take a year for us to realize that we had found the one. So, on our one-year aniversary, I conviced Naomi to recreate our first date. We recreated everything down to the smallest detail with one major exeption....
