The Wedding Website of Lisa Ritchie and Sean Ritchie
Some burning FAQs! For any questions or personal needs not listed on this page, please reach out to the Bride or Groom.
Question

When should I arrive?

Answer

The first scheduled event of the weekend will be on Friday 10/27 at SCP Seven4One at 730p. We hope to see you there for welcome drinks and hugs! Please arrive at the venue on Saturday at 400p for the evening festivities to begin. Laguna Beach, and and all of SoCal has TONS of cool things to do and explore. So should you want to and be able to stay longer we highly recommend it! There are great beaches, restaurants, downtowns and places to explore along the coast. Head over to our 'things to do' page for more!

Question

Is there a room block or preferred hotel for booking?

Answer

Yes! The wedding party and immediate family will be staying at SCP Seven4One, which is also the location for welcome drinks and the after party :) While this property is fully booked, their sister hotel next door, Laguna Riviera has availability and there is a discount code to use to book. Please reach out to the Bride or Groom for the code!

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail Attire is requested for the Ceremony & Reception. The ground is fully paved, so no need to worry about treacherous treks in shoes - wear footwear that makes you happy and you want to dance in! Should you be able to attend the Welcome Drinks, Smart Casual is requested for that event.

Question

Are the bride and groom registered?

Answer

Yes! Though your presence is our present, should you want to bring a physical gift or card, there will be a gift table at the venue. You can find the registry on the 'registry' tab of our site, or at zola.com/wedding/nanusritchiewedding/registry

Question

Can we take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We will be having an unplugged ceremony. This means no phone use is allowed during our service. This is very important to the bride and groom because 1) we want you to be present with us as we tie the knot and 2) we don't want our professional photos to be showing a sea of screens instead of our guests. We will share around all of the professional photos to anyone who would like them!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Please RSVP for the amount of recipients on your invitation. +1's have been included in our guest count accordingly!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we adore kids (we mean it, we do!) only children taking part of the ceremony may attend.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! There is an on site, free of charge parking for all who wish to drive themselves to our big day.

Question

What is the weather like?

Answer

Laguna Beach in late October is picture perfect. Plan for highs in the mid 70s during the day, and lows in the high 50s at night. The ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outdoors in the beautiful Laguna Canyon, the reception will move in to a tent on the venue grounds that will have plenty os space heaters to keep us all comfortable.

Question

What will the wedding day timeline look like?

Answer

Plan for arrival at Seven 7 Seven at 400p. All festivities will be held at Seven 7 Seven. The ceremony will take approximately 30 minutes, and we will move right into cocktail hour. The reception will wrap around 10p, and if you're so inclined ask the bride and groom about the after party locale!

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! We want our guests to enjoy their time with us celebrating our love! There will be an open full bar, so please plan your transport accordingly.

Question

Can we post photos on social media?

Answer

We'd love that! And please tag us so that we can see them! Our only ask is that you do not take photos during the ceremony, and that all phones are away for the ceremony.
