Our story kicked off with some pretty great first dates - fajitas and drinks at Lone Star, rocking out at a Mötley Crüe and Def Leppard concert, and meeting halfway in Brockville for dinner and rounds of pool after work. At the time, Rebecca was in Ottawa and Jesse was in Kingston, so weekends meant road trips back and forth with our fur babies, Felix and Fondue. After a year of long drives and lots of adventures, we made the move to Smiths Falls, our perfect middle ground. Jesse, a civil engineer, transferred to his company’s Perth office and Rebecca, an elementary school teacher, landed a teaching position in town. Since then, life has been full of fun - travelling to Quebec City, Hawaii, and Florida, attending countless concerts and sporting events, and getting involved in our community. Both big on family, we introduced the Lees and the Nantels early on during the Christmas holidays, and now we love spending time together at the cottage and trailer, fish frys and the Delta Fair, and celebrating birthdays and special events. Now, we can’t wait to make it official! We’re tying the knot at Happy Life Farms, right between Rebecca’s hometown of Delta and Jesse’s hometown of Kingston. We couldn’t imagine celebrating without you there!
