Our story began in September 2012 in New Mexico, US. One week had passed since when I (Jessy) moved from Mexico to the US to start my last year of college. I (Nando) instead was living in the US for over one year. I moved from Italy to study a Master and decided to start a doctorate that year. We met at the welcome party for international students after a friend convinced me (Nando) to attend --- I had never attended one of such events before (no beer was served and I didn't like the food!). There were many people, but I put my eyes on a beautiful girl, while she was looking for a place where to sit. So we found ourselves sitting beside each other. That's where all begun.

After a few dates, we knew we were made for each other. After one year from our first date, we moved in together. We were both students - Jessy was now in a Ms. in Mechanical Engineering while Nando was ping-ponging between Italy and US for a joined doctorate program between the two countries. Jessica was following me when I was in Italy; So we were always together. We lived in New Mexico until the summer of 2016, when we both graduated. Then, we moved to Michigan, US, where we currently live.
