Okpii Wedding July 2025

FAQs

The Wedding Website of Nandi Mhlongo and Emmanuel Okpii
We know that weddings come with lots of little details, so we’ve gathered answers to some of the most common questions to help you prepare for our big day. If there’s anything else you’re unsure about, feel free to reach out to us directly!
Question

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

Our dress code is elevated garden party or garden party formal. Think elegant summer attire, light fabrics, florals, suits without ties are fine, and fun, dressy vibes that suit a garden marquee celebration. Feel free to wear traditional attire as well. Please note the ceremony is in a church , so modesty is appreciated.

Question

Are children welcome?

Answer

Yes, children are welcome as part of your allocated guest invitation. However, we kindly ask that parents keep a close eye on their little ones during the day. Out of respect for the sanctity of moments such as the ceremony, please ensure they remain seated and calm during these times. Thank you for helping us maintain a peaceful and respectful atmosphere on our special day.

Question

Is there parking at the venues?

Answer

There is limited parking at the church, and it’s available on a first-come, first-served basis. We recommend arriving early or considering lift-sharing to ensure you have a spot. At the reception venue, Dunston Hall Garden Marquee, ample parking is available.

Question

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that guests refrain from taking photos during the ceremony so that our photographer can capture the moment. You’re more than welcome to take photos during the rest of the day!

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Your invitation will indicate if you have a plus one. If you’re unsure, please feel free to reach out to us directly; we’re happy to clarify!

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

There are several accommodation options near the church and reception venue. Dunston Hall has rooms available for booking, and there are also nearby hotels and Airbnbs in the Norwich area. We recommend booking early as July is a popular time for events.

Question

What kind of gifts can we give you?

Answer

Your presence is the greatest gift! But if you’d like to bless us with something extra, we truly appreciate your thoughtful generosity! Rather than traditional household goods, which aren’t a priority for us at the moment. We’ve created a honeymoon fund registry. Your contribution will help us create lasting memories as we embark on our first married adventure together.

Question

Registry Information

Answer

We have set up a honeyfund registry for our wedding, where you can contribute to our honeymoon fund or help us with some of the adventures we’re planning after the wedding. If you'd like to give, you can access the registry directly through the link provided. Please note: As the Honeyfund website is based in the U.S., there can be issues with UK cards processing payments. To ensure everything goes smoothly, we recommend using PayPal for contributions. Thank you so much for your generosity , we can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Question

Where can I stay for the wedding?

Answer

Our reception will be held at the hotel, and we’ve arranged a special discount for our guests! Use the promo code DUNSTONWEDDING when booking directly through the hotel’s website. Just select your desired dates, enter the code under the Promotion section, and you’ll receive 20% off the best available rate (note: this doesn’t apply to the advanced purchase rate). Is a deposit required? Yes, a £50 deposit is needed to confirm your booking. The remaining balance will be due when you check in.

Question

📸 Can we share the photos we’ve taken at the wedding?
