Maid of Honor
We have known each other since elementary school, went to the same high school and then college. We went to the United Kingdom and lived together for while and seperated when I had to relocate to the US and Zita, Canada. We have shared so many precious moments, laughing, arguing, crying and praying together! I remember during my grad school years London I needed about 2000 pounds to complete my course. I was very broke and was at the brink of dropping from school when Zita went to the bank, got a loan in her name and gave me the money to pay for my tuition. Who does that??? One time we snuck into the movie theater with just one ticket and we felt like we were badass!!! I am tearing up just thinking of the memories we have shared together!
Best Man
He ran 5 miles of the Tough Mudder on a broken ankle, saved the Britton Woods apartment complex by climbing up the second level and turning off a water heater supply valve, and selflessly disposed of dangerous, toxic vegetable beef waste when it threatened a group of college roommates. He's my hero, Mike Morton!
Bridesmaid
Jessica is my sister whom I love so dearly. It is such a blessing that we have each other in the United States. We are always looking for excuses to visit each other constantly and wish beyond anything that we lived next-door. Be on the lookout for the loudest and happiest bridesmaid. That's Jess! She is the crazy one in the family and we won't have her any other way. LOL!
Groomsman
Yes, he looks surprised in this photo, but there was nobody more confident that this day would arrive for me! In fact, he helped me write the vast majority of the eharmony profile that ultimately won Nancy over. Dave is also my most prolific travel companion; New York, DC, Bay Area, Alaska, Colorado, Vegas, Baltimore, Pataskala Ohio, Yellowstone, LA, Taiwan, but most especially Yountville. A few years ago, I just gave up and started using his Google Photos profile to show off photos of my vacations.

We've been friends since were teenagers and have shared so many memories, navigating adulthood 101 till date. Violet has been my number one cheerleader and has been planning our wedding from the time she knew Christian an I were dating (that's about two years ago lol).

Back when Chris and I were both still living in Columbus, we decided to visit Dave (who had recently moved to Maryland). The night before we had planned to leave (around 12:30am), we both discovered each other in the kitchen of our place in Riverpark Apartments getting some water. Chris took a long drink, then asked "Want to just leave now?" That typifies Chris' spirit: adventurous, spontaneous, and impervious to lack of sleep.
Bridesmaid
I have known Nelly since high school and we have shared so many great memories. Nelly was so excited about the fact that I was back on the dating scene, and I could always tell from our conversations that she wanted Christian and my relationship to work. Her constant advice has been invaluable!
Groomsman
I could drone endlessly about our shared travel, gaming conventions, fencing tournaments, and ominous filling station attendants. But most significantly, of my last 8 jobs, Derek was directly responsible for 7. Of those 7 jobs, he was actively involved with 6, in most cases concurrently with me. In fact, I spent almost a year working in the same office with Derek while traveling with him one week each month to the Bay area. I once calculated during that year that he and I spent 10% more time together (average per month) than he and his wife.
Bridesmaid
Elizabeth and I have been friends since high school. We have shared so many memories together and she has been a constant voice of reason in my life. I remember many years ago, when, we were still very new to life in the US and had saved just enough money to buy lunch from Chick-Fil-A! We felt like we were on top of the world because we could afford a Chick-Fil-A meal! I vividly remember us toasting our frosted lemonades to living the American dream!
Groomsman
Chris is a Major in the marines, a family man, the last man on earth to use both a slide phone and a ball mouse, and a top 100 Super Mario Kart player. He is a social butterfly and introduced multiple friends of mine to their future spouses (including John, a fellow groomsman). More personally though, Chris and I grew up together, lived together, traveled together, gamed together, and hunted for felons at local hospitals together; he is my friend and my brother.
Bridesmaid
Mariette has been such an amazing sister and friend. Our friendship blossomed after I moved to Ohio. If Joy was a person, Mariette will be that person. I have never seen anyone happy about life! I call her if I am feeling sad and get off the phone laughing hysterically. I love her so dearly.
Groomsman
- musician - entomologist - chemist - instructor - penciller - linguist These are just a few of John's many talents. Yes, the 4 albums that we composed together were widely disparaged, but that wasn't John's fault!
Bridesmaid
Clarise and I both studied to be Systems Engineers and have been friends since then! She was the one who advice me to go on my first date with Christian at his house! She is the reason behind the famous pepper mace! I would not have gone to Christian's house without it.
Groomsman
Jeremy and I only hung out a dozen times prior to his final departure from Ohio, and frankly we weren't that close at the time. However, our relationship deepened in the intervening decade (and change). Jeremy remains my favorite debate partner - religion, politics, software, cuisine, gaming, and more. Regardless of the topic, I can count on Jeremy to dispassionately advocate for his perspective, and very frequently to shape mine in the process.
Groomsman
Nathan and I met at bible study over a decade ago, but our friendship really solidified on the volleyball court. Many weeks (particularly over the summer), we would play together 3 or 4 evenings, at least 3 hours an evening. As time went on though, we started to share many other interests including music, board games, bourbon, and William Shatner's non-Trek oeuvre.
