Brandon and Nancy Jo met in October of 2016. Nancy Jo's good friend Paul suggested she apply to be a long-term vocal substitute teacher at Buffalo Community Middle School. She applied and boom! She was hired the next day! After her first week of teaching, she happened to be in the mail room getting the layout of the school when in walks this English teacher. Nancy Jo and Brandon introduced themselves to each other and after a few weeks of getting to know each other, they started dating! And the rest is history. :) Brandon later proposed to Nancy Jo in the same mail room where they first met, and they could not be more excited to spend the rest of their lives together!

As many of our friends and family already know, Brandon and I actually tied the knot this summer on July 24th, 2020! Though we had to postpone our ceremony due to unforeseen circumstances, we still wanted to be married! Though our wedding celebration on July 30th, 2022 will be a little unconventional and unique, we are so blessed that we will be able to celebrate our one year anniversary with all of the important people in our lives. Since Brandon and I are theater people, we like to call our marriage ceremony our "Broadway Debut" and our second wedding ceremony our "Broadway Revival".
