Getting and Staying Here

Some Notes on the Weekend: We won't be getting a hotel block anywhere, so you can stay wherever your heart desires! If possible, we'd recommend getting a place for Friday and Saturday night, and it's also a 3 day weekend for some, so feel free to extend your trip. The venue is easily accessible from almost anywhere in NYC, but it may take some time to get there (Ridgewood is farther out than you think)- public transportation, taxi, and private car are all great options, but make sure to check google maps for ETAs. We will NOT be providing a shuttle as we expect guests will be coming from lots of different neighborhoods.

Flight

JFK, LGA, or EWR

Getting in: Flying into JFK, LGA, or EWR are all great options if you're coming from afar, and if you're coming from nearby, congrats on getting to avoid the airport! Make sure to leave plenty of time to get to where you're staying- there's often construction, so taxi rides to/from the airport can take over an hour!

House Or Rental

AirBnB

AirBnB is a great option for families or groups of friends staying together. We recommend searching in Williamsburg (try to find somewhere close to the L line on the subway, the easiest way to get to the venue), but other neighborhoods would work as well!

Hotel

Any Hotel in NYC!

If you're not crashing with friends and aren't into AirBnB, here are some cool hotels to look into: (of note, there's not much in Ridgewood close to the venue, so Williamsburg is probably your best bet- and again, there's no hotel block or discount at any of these places) https://wythehotel.com/ https://www.thewilliamsburghotel.com/ https://www.thepodhotel.com/pod-brooklyn/ https://www.hotellejolie.com/

Train

Getting to the Venue

Taxi: Tell your taxi (or uber, lyft, juno, via... lots of options to choose from) driver to take you to Nowadays at 56-06 Cooper Ave, or the corner of Cooper and Wyckoff Avenues, in Ridgewood. It's around a 30 minute drive from Williamsburg. Subway: Take the L train to the Halsey St stop and walk down Wyckoff Ave until it ends, then take a right onto Cooper Ave- Nowadays will be on your left. Construction on the L train isn't scheduled to start until 2019, so it will be running from Manhattan.
