“We’re getting married”

We actually met at a birthday pool party. As soon as I walked into the party, Segun was coming from the pool area and saw me as he was walking in from the pool area. He approached me and said, “hey how are you?” I replied and said I’m doing great, but can you please help me put on my wristband ?” From that moment we were inseparable. After the party was over we decided to go to Waffle House, a well known breakfast restaurant. We stayed a talked for hours. Before we knew it the time was 3 am. Segun told me goodnight and even called to make sure I got home safely. We spent almost everyday together getting to know each other. Segun would plan exciting date and we would talk on the phone for hours in the evening. As months flew by it become more apparent that we had fallen in love. The day Segun proposed he told me to get dressed up because he wanted to take me to one of my favorite restaurants. When we arrived I noticed that the ambiance of the restaurant was more romantic than normal . We talked over dinner like normal. I decided to reach in my purse to reapply my lipstick. When I looked up I saw the entire restaurant crew and a camera man recording Segun getting on one knee. When Segun asked me to marry him, I said YES!
