Wedding site. 3 levels of accommodations. Grand main building, Premium Mid level, and Standard (motel like). Budget water view is a nice view and has a nice yard for gatherings. No elevators in mid-level or budget but only two stories. All three at the same site as the wedding. They don't block rooms but gave us a "wedding rate". When you make reservation you say its for the Vickerson-White Wedding. You may want to compare rates as the rates they gave us aren't great. Book early because holiday weekends usually fill up in Lake George pretty quickly. If you book a cancellable room you can always cancel your room and rebook at bargain rate if one comes available. Ample parking. Convenient to beach, fort, village. Walking distance to almost everything. Pros: On site. Three different levels in room choices. Microwave and mini fridge in Grand rooms. Easy parking. Close to everything. Cons: No fridge, wave or elevator in premium or standard rooms. Minimum 2 night stay.

**My favorite if you don't mind staying off site. Directly across the street from Fort William Henry. Very well kept up. Rates reasonable. Great online reviews. Very friendly staff when called for information. You should book early because holiday weekends usually fill up in Lake George pretty quickly. Pros: Looks nice (did not see rooms). Reasonable rates. Close to Fort William. Close to village. Refrigerator in every room. Reasonable rates. FREE continental breakfast. Cons: No view of Lake. Walk across street from wedding. No elevators.. 2-3 night minimum stay holiday weekend.

For those who want a camping experience. Walking distance to Fort. Will need to book early due to holiday weekend. Closest campground to venue but there are others further away. Only $22 per night. No minimum stay requirement. Pros: It's camping. Within walking distance to wedding and village depending on which site you choose. Walk to public beach and they have their own beach too. Cheap and may be able to book one night only. Cons: It's camping. Mosquitoes. Rain. And maybe bears.

Close to wedding. Cheap. But place looks extremely run down. I was surprised to see they were even open. No yelp reviews, tripadvisor reviews are bad.

Surfside On The Lake Hotel & Suites

On the other side of the village. 0.8 walking miles to wedding. This side is further away from main beach and water activities but closer to some of the nightclubs. Property is retro but kept up well. Small private beach. Staff very friendly. Some rooms are waterview. Most are not. As everywhere in Lake George, book early and parking is tight. Much better option than Georgian next door.

Opposite side of the village. 0.8 miles walk to wedding. Retro motel, outside ok with a small private beach. Rooms clean but not updated. When we stayed there the clientele was trashy and management did not attempt to control it.

Towards the center of the village so close to everything. 0.5 miles from wedding. New hotel, Upkeep looks great. Some lakeview rooms in higher levels. Has elevators .Very friendly staff. Their onsite restaurant Charlies is very good.

Beware when they say "5 minutes to village center". That assumes no traffic and Lake George Village has such heavy traffic and limited parking that it's normally quicker to walk.
