It's happening!

Nancy and Ezekiel met at marching band camp, and continued to get to know each other through soccer. Ezekiel was on the varsity soccer team and Nancy was volunteering as one of the equipment managers of the team due to her involvement with the girls varsity team. After a few months of getting to know each other, they began dating.

Nancy was traveling back to Michigan with her sister Evelyn from a vacation in Corpus Cristi, Texas. Nancy has the guilty pleasure of watching the TLC show 90 Day Fiancé. Ezekiel thought it would be funny to recreate the cliche of airport meetups/proposals from the show. Nancy's flight was delayed, and Ezekiel anxiously paced through the airport for what seemed like forever. When they finally arrived, Evelyn helped by filming, even though she had no idea what was about to happen. Nancy also had no idea this was coming, she said yes and had to go outside because she was hyperventilating from wearing a face mask in the airport.
