Neither have I but I think our story is similar to that. We met online but it is far more complicated than that. I had started online dating again after giving up on love and finding a good man. Nine years of meeting the wrong men makes you feel that way. However, I decided to give it another shot. Two weeks in and I remembered why I stopped and wanted to join a convent but then I came across Erric's one picture. Now usually I would've bypassed him because I don't trust dude's with one picture but something told me to smile at him, so I did. His first message to me was, "You're a Chargers fan?!" And that was that! I had rules that were mandatory on my dating list. For example, I did not want a man who was in the military, a man with kids and a long distance relationship. Well guess what? I got all three of those! God works in mysterious ways. Well as soon as we got to meet each other, I looked into his eyes and knew that I would love this man forever. Before he could hold me in his arms, he already held my heart.
and he had just picked me up from the airport. I was ready to go get tacos but he said he wanted to take me to a spot overlooking the city that I had never seen. As we're driving up the mountain, I was thinking, "What is he talking about? I've been up here already!" He parked the car at an overlook and told me how much he loved me. But then, we took off and went to another overlook that had a different view with a better glimpse of the moon. At this point, I'm thinking he is acting kinda strange and antsy but whatever, when are we getting tacos? We park at the overlook and he asks if I want to get out. I'm thinking, "Heck no!! It's 40 degrees outside!! Are you crazy?!" A little voice in my head said, "Get out of the car!" We stand outside with a beautiful moonlight shining above and the city lights shining below. He holds me in his arms and tells me, "I love you so much, babe. You mean the world to me and I can't imagine my life without you." He gets on one knee, pulls out the box (upside down but quickly turns it right side up) and says, "Will you marry me?" I cry like a little baby and hug him. He asks, "Is that a yes?!" It is a yes forevermore. Then we got tacos.
