Historic classic diner with fresh waffles, fresh squeezed orange juice, and greasy hash browns, YUM. The owners of this restaurant have jumped through hoops to ensure their staff continued to get paid despite closures during the pandemic.
Best of Chinatown. Be sure to order the special hand pulled noodles. Our favorite dishes are: braised green beans, hot spicy chow mein with hand pulled noodles & shrimp, pork and leek dumplings, onion pancake, and Shandong chicken. Portions are ~huge~ / consider sharing with a friend.
This is one of our favorite places to take out of towners on a short hike, and check out one of the most unique places in San Francisco. The ruins of a beautiful bath house on the beach make for great Instagrams, easy to moderate hiking, and a nice escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. Bring a jacket and stocking hat - the ocean breeze gets chilly.
