It's funny when you think about all of the small things that have to fall in place to create the stories we live. We met by chance as two Louisville natives who traveled with our friends to Charleston for an arts and music festival in 2012. I was following the music with my handbell ensemble and Chris made a last-minute decision to travel with Mario when other options had fallen through. Our meeting was the kind of chance encounter that many of us have had and haven't given a second thought to, but for us once our paths crossed they were no longer two separate paths (though that path might range far and wide, covering more ground through more national parks than I can count). From early days of fishing and hanging out at local spots playing pool, to weathering the distance demanded by first jobs, our relationship has grown as organically as that serendipitous first meeting would suggest. We can't wait for you to come celebrate our next step with us.
