The cost includes the direct round-trip flights, the 7-night resort stay, as well as the airport shuttle to and from the resort upon arrival and departure. The price also includes all food and alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. These prices are subject to change depending on where you are flying out of, what days you will be flying, and how long you will be staying. Please refer to the booking question below for more details.
For Edmonton Guests: You will book through our travel agent directly and everything will be coordinated with her. Your cost will be $2828 CDN per person with travel dates of April 28-May 5, 2026. Should you choose to make any adjustments (travel dates, length of stay, etc.) please reach out to Nicola Baird-Latham via email at nbaird@maritimetravel.ca or at 780 919 1431. For out of city guests within Canada: Please reach out to Nicola and she will let you know the price for your city. She will also coordinate all of your bookings. For out of country guests: Our travel agent Nicola will have a room block price for you that is under our wedding group rate. You will need to book flights separately, and then you will book with a room rate that she provides. Nicola can also assist in getting your out of country flights arranged, or you can coordinate flights yourself. Whatever you prefer, but we do suggest touching base with Nicola on your options.
Yes it is crucial, as unfortunately anyone who is booked outside of our room block will have to pay for a day pass to attend our wedding. As well, our wedding group rate is much cheaper than rates you will see elsewhere. If you do wish to book with your credit card points for example, you can reach out to Nicola and she can provide you with options. Please note the price is all-inclusive of everything, so typically going outside of the package will forgo certain things such as the round trip shuttle transportation to and from the airport.
No! The initial deposit upon booking is $250 per person. The final payment isn’t due until February 12, 2026.
Absolutely! We have garden-view junior suites reserved, but you are welcome to upgrade. Nicola can provide you with costs and options.
Only the guests formally invited will be accommodated as we do have a venue capacity. If you received a plus one, they will appear when you RSVP on our website. Please note, we do understand that double room occupancy is more cost effective. If you are a single person, please reach out directly to Alex or Nancy and we can either help match you up with someone or discuss options.
While we love your little ones, as it is an adults-only resort, we unfortunately cannot accommodate children.
If we do not receive your RSVP by the date provided (May 12, 2025), it will automatically be marked as “not attending”. We will miss celebrating with you but it is imperative we provide the resort and vendors with our final guest count within the time frame they have provided us. Should you need more time beyond this date, please reach out to either Alex or Nancy directly. Thank you for understanding!
Dress to impress! Our wedding is formal. Think dresses for women and suits/dress shirts for men. Please avoid loud prints or anything too bright. Think pastels and a garden formal vibe! Both the ceremony and reception will be outside, so please make sure to dress appropriately.
Costa Mujeres is 20 minutes from Cancun and experiences average daily temperatures ranging from 24 degrees C - 30 degrees C in April/May. Prepare for wind and rain in case, but typically it is hot and sunny this time of year!
We’ll be serving hors d’oeuvres at cocktail hour followed by a buffet style sit down dinner. If you have dietary restrictions, please let us know.
We ask that you kindly put your phones and cameras away during the ceremony as we want you to all be present with us in the moment. We have a professional photographer to capture the ceremony for us. Other than the ceremony, yes! Please feel free to take as many photos and videos you would like, it’s encouraged!
Everything is included, but we do recommend bringing some spending cash for tips throughout the week as they are appreciated by the resort workers. USD or pesos are accepted.
No we do not! Given that this is a destination wedding, your presence and celebrating our big day with you is the gift so please do not feel obligated! For friends and family who have expressed interest, we’d appreciate your support through monetary gifts to help contribute to the next chapter of our lives.
