Creole Creamery
Creole Creamery is an old fashioned soda fountain with homemade ice creams in all sorts of flavors- everything from chocolate and vanilla to creole cream cheese and cafe au lait (Nancy’s favorites) and Mexican Hot Chocolate and Salty Smokey Chocolate Almond (two of Benjamin’s favorites). This is definitely one of our favorite places for a sweet snack.
New York Pizza
New York Pizza is one of our favorite spots for delicious thin crust pizza. They serve up a “Pint and Slice” special for $5, so you are basically getting a free slice of pizza when you buy a pint of beer on tap.
Juan's Flying Burrito - LGD
Great casual Mexican restaurant with a New Orleans twist. We love their Jerk Chicken Nachos. They have 4 locations around town.
Del Fuego NOLA
Del Fuego is another delicious Mexican restaurant. It serves Baja-style Mexican food. They have amazing margaritas made from fresh squeezed fruits. Our favorite is the Tamarind Margarita. They also have delicious churros.
Atchafalaya
Our first date was to Atchafalaya. We are hoping to have Sunday Brunch there before the Saints game. More details to follow.
Mimi's in the Marigny Opens at 1PM serves tapas so late lunch, Dinner and late night! Good times.
