Nanci was living her best city girl life in the heart of NYC, on a work assignment. Luke was grinding in the city's finance world. One day, fate swiped right, and with a little help from modern cupid, Hinge, Nanci received a rose from Luke. After their first date, they realized they lived in the same neighborhood, so Luke, ever the gentleman, offered to walk her home. Nanci, a little cautious, casually mentioned she lived on “so-and-so street” (a completely made-up address), hoping he’d turn off somewhere to his place. As they neared her “street,” and he was still with her, she had to claim it was a mistake and that she actually lived another few streets up (still not her real street). This happened two more times until—surprise!—they ended up right in front of her building. Turns out, they lived just a block apart! Nanci admitted her little fib and it's been happily ever after. Since then, they've braved long-distance love, bonding with each other's families, friends, and dogs. Their weekends are filled with outdoor adventures, trying new foods, and boba runs (where Luke always picks the best flavors, and Nanci... does not). Turns out, love finds you when you least expect it, even if it takes a few fake addresses to get there.
