FAQs

Question

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

To ensure we can host everyone comfortably and safely, please RSVP by August 1, 2026. After this date, our final guest count is locked in with our catering team. If you don't RSVP by then, we will assume you’re celebrating with us from afar! We appreciate your help in making our big day run smoothly.

Question

What is the date and time of the wedding?

Answer

Our wedding will start at 5pm EST on September 19, 2026.

Question

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

Please plan to arrive by 4:30 PM. As this is a private home, arriving early ensures a smooth flow for parking and seating. The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:00 PM, so please don't be late!

Question

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our wedding will primarily be an outdoor celebration. While the drinking and dancing will move take place in the saloon on the property, the rest of the festivities will be under the outside. Please plan your attire (and especially your shoes!) with this in mind.

Question

Is this an "unplugged" ceremony?

Answer

During the ceremony, we invite you to be completely present with us and keep your phones silenced and put away. We’ve got the photography covered and want to make sure our ceremony shots are phone-free! After we say 'I do,' we want to see the night through your eyes! Please feel free to take (and share with us!) as many photos and videos as you’d like during the dinner, drinking and dancing as we celebrate the rest of the night.

Question

What is the wedding itinerary?

Answer

5:00 PM | The Ceremony An outdoor "unplugged" ceremony to start the festivities! 5:30 PM | Sips & Snacks While the wedding party and family head off for a few photos, please mix and mingle! Enjoy the grazing table outside the food truck filled with charcuterie-style snacks or head to the saloon for drinks and dancing. 6:30 PM | Dinner is Served No seating charts here! Just grab a plate from the food truck and find a spot you like. We plan to do toasts and cake cutting near the beginning of the reception, so if you need to head out early, you won’t miss any big moments. 7:30 PM – 10:00 PM | Party On! The Saloon is open, the music is up, drinks are flowing and the dance floor is yours.

Question

Will there be parking at the venue?

Answer

While there is parking on-site and on the street, it is quite tight since we are celebrating at a family home. We want to be mindful of the neighbors and ensure everyone gets in easily, so highly, highly recommend carpool or Uber/Lyft if you can! If you're looking to save on rideshare costs, a great strategy is to park in nearby Northeast Durham or Oak Grove (look for free public parking or large shopping centers like Harris Teeter or Walmart) and Uber the rest of the way. We appreciate you helping us make the arrival smooth for everyone!

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We wish we could invite everyone! However, to keep our celebration intimate and stay within the capacity of our family’s home, we can only accommodate those named on the invitation. If you did not receive a plus-one, we kindly ask that you do not bring a guest. Thank you for helping us keep our big day small!

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! We will have an open bar featuring beer and wine available in the saloon. Cheers!

Question

Are you registered?

Answer

While we don’t have a traditional registry, we are looking forward to our first big adventure as a married couple! If you’d like to give a gift, a donation to our honeymoon fund would be greatly appreciated.
