Matron of Honor
Cousin's, but really sisters. Tanya and Nan have had a close bond since childhood. Nan is grateful to have Tanya always looking after her, especially since her mother passed away 8 years ago. They spend their time face-timing most nights about shoes or plant care. But most importantly, Tanya's children are Nan's favorite tiny humans.
Best Man
Rob and Matthew are cousins who share the same age, a large part of what makes them so close. Both share a passion for outdoor activities---especially skiing and hiking-- and travel. Growing up, they spent time together at family Bar and Bat Mitzvah's, family trips to dude ranches and visits to their grandparent's house back east in Washington D.C. As adults, they have visited each other as both moved around the country--rendevousing in San Francisco (where Rob worked at one point), LA, and New York (where Rob currently lives).
Bridesmaid
Theresa, the bff. Nan went to grad school with Theresa's husband Drew, and they have all been close since the most memorable Disneyland trip ever. Theresa and Nan celebrate their friend-a-versary on Cinco de Mayo and share a love of bubbles and Disney or Bubbles at Disney to be exact. Whether it be Moti's matching outfits or all the different phases of hair styles they've gone through together over the years, Theresa is Nan's ride or die and Nan is so thankful to have her be the calm sounding board in her life.
Groomsman
Jacob and Matthew met in the 5th grade and quickly became best friends, when Matthew moved to Portland, OR from Anchorage, AK. Growing up, Matthew went over to Jacob's house after school and watched far too many hours of movies and cable tv shows together. They share a love of adventure for hiking and the outdoors. Fast forward to today and they live an hour apart from each other, Jacob in Orange County, CA and Matthew in LA.
Bridesmaid
Ani is Nan's partner in crime. You can usually find this dangerous duo at a music festival or robbing the slot machines in Vegas. In good times and in bad times, Ani and Nan have always been there for each other. Not even Kanye and Taylor Swift can get between these two. Nan loves Ani as a sister, and they will always be down to get Korean BBQ together.
Groomsman
Matt and Matthew met in Seattle where they went to college together. Their light hearted temperaments, love of electronic music and outdoor activities have brought them closer together.
Bridesmaid
Judy and Nan have been friends longer than Judy likes to admit that she's lived in LA. They met telling jokes on the comedy scene and have been soul sisters ever since. They often double date with Matty Squared. (Judy's Matty is also a groomsman.) Judy is the person Nan always calls first when she needs advice, a laugh, or just a caring shoulder to lean on.
Groomsman
David and Matthew have spent many a days together. The two met when David hired Matthew on to work at his experiential marketing company back in 2016, when Matthew first moved to LA. The twos love of great company, food + drink and sense of humor make for a great camraderie. And it doesn't hurt that they share the same birthday and middle name either.
Bridesmaid
Barbara and Nan used to call Birds their second home and share a love of glitter and dancing the night away. Barbara is Nan's magical spirit animal that has guided her through many phases of life over the years. Despite their long distance relationship (Atwater, and somewhere on the west side?) they remain close and will always be there for each other.
Groomsman
Matt and Matthew became close in the last few years. Matt's partner, Judy, has known Nan for years and they met via Judy. Matt and Matthew have enjoyed many meals together and quality conversations Matt used to work in the industry that Matthew is in now , and it's thanks to Matt that he has his current opportunity.
Bridesmaid
Nan and Nune have known each other since middle school. They used to spend their time going for hikes, followed by yoga, followed by spin, followed by ruining all the hard work with a 4 course meal ,followed by dessert. They have shared many good/bad habits over the years (i.e. Snacking and napping in college philosophy but still being able to answer questions) Nan is semi responsible for introducing Nune to her husband Beau, who Nan went to grad school with. Even though they live in Brooklyn now, Nune and Beau are Nan's favorite couple and she is lucky to have been friends with them both all these years.
Groomsman
Mike is Nan's surrogate brother, but over the years Matthew and Mike have become close friends. Together they often spend weekends dining together or taking family trips to desert. Mike is a reliable pillar in Matthew and Nan's lives and they are grateful that he is always looking out for them.
Bridesmaid
Roomies, but really family at this point. Gaby and Nan met in grad school at AFI and bonded over forever being 12 year olds on the inside. Over the years, Matthew and Gaby have also become close and they can often be found speaking Spanish together. Gaby coparents the pomskies and the cat. They all often spend time cooking meals together or going on trips to Disney.
