Dev and Jonas were Co Interns together and weathered the fires of EM residency for 3 years. He has always been an excellent clinician and close friend for Jonas. Still, we will all remember him by his nickname S.A.B.M.

Grace and Nakoa met in high school after realizing they were both apart of the same figure skating rink. Grace would pick Nakoa up for school most mornings where they would sing every word to every Taylor Swift song available. From up to no good college students, to grown ups we have always been there for each other.

Ines and Jonas meet in med school and were partners for the first lab. He quickly became one of Jonas’s closest friends from med school. They’ve had a lot of lot of adventures over those years and med school was definitely a wild ride for them both as well as their mutual friend, Chris.

Kristin and Nakoa met through mutual friends. Over the past several years they have traveled together all over the country (and out of it). Kristin is an accomplished gardener who always offers support and excellent advice. She was also the brides roomie for a bit which was super fun!

Chris and Jonas have been good friends since med school. Early range buddies, they bonded over their shared hobbies. Chris was a great friend and he, Jonas, and Ines had some amazing experiences in medschool before starting residency.

Lex and Nakoa met in high school in drama class. Lex can be credited with bringing Nakoa out of her shell, and also making fantastic cups of coffee. Always a very reliable and true friend.

Frank and Jonas were part of the same class of EM residents. One of the kindest and most devoted individuals he had met, Frank and Jonas soon formed a friendship that would last years. From adventuring through Philly to trading advice about navigating residency, Frank has always been a true friend.

Jaclyn Doud

Jackie and Nakoa met through mutual friends at a day trip of canoeing and fun at the blue hole. Since then they have become great friends sharing in all of the fun parts of growing up! Jackie is always willing to help and share her artistic talents. Nakoa enjoys spending time with Jackie and watching her babies grow up!

Shah and Jonas first met each other during orientation for intern year. Since then, Shah joined Jonas and the rest of the friends he made during residency as they weathered though night shifts and the fires of the ER together. Always quick to bring wings to any event, Shah soon became a good friend.

Shannon Woodworth

Nakoa and Shannon met in a community theatre program when they were probably about 10 years old. They were reunited when they were accepted to GCIT's performing arts program for high school and the rest is history. They share a love of music, tennis, and pie. Nakoa visits Shannon in Nashville every chance she gets!

Jonas and Jim met via his brother Joe and Nakoa. Quick to join in on Sunday X wing games, and with an excellent taste in beer, his friendship and company has been greatly enjoyed. An amazing man with a big heart, both Jonas and Nakoa are always happy to have him around.

Ronnie Lamastro

Nakoa and Ronnie met first semester at Rowan for undergrad in their fraternity APO. They enjoy chatting all things science. Ronnie is currently a PhD candidate at Brown University. Nakoa credits passing Organic I & II to Ronnie's tutoring skills as she is the chemistry queen. Ronnie is a great friend and is always willing to lend a hand to anyone who needs her.

Adam and Jonas quickly became friends and bonded over their mutual love of beer, games, and debating. Having been a long time friend of Nakoa’s, he often times joins the two. From hiking to playing Star Wars board games, Adam is always quick to lend a hand and be an amazing friend.

Nakoa and Rachel met when she started dating (and eventually marrying) Nakoa's older brother. Nakoa enjoys visiting Rachel and her family in Colorado whenever she can. Rachel is a talented painter, a great cook, and an awesome mom to our niece and nephew. Rachel is a fantastic OG sister in law, and Nakoa is very grateful that her brother married someone she enjoys spending time with!

Joe and Jonas met through Nakoa when they started dating. From venturing through Philly for bocce games, relaxing at the beach with the dogs, to trying new restaurants, Jonas and Nakoa spend a lot of time with Joe. Joe is always fun to share beer with and a master of different puzzles and board games. He has been an amazing friend to both Nakoa and Jonas.
