We first met several years ago as he was a friend of my sister. We have known each other over the years and even though he expressed interest in me back then, I was focused on school. Years go by and we happened to see each other while he was visiting my sister in 2018. My nieces "connected" us and we have been together since that day. From trips to breakups, promise ring to engagement ring...here we are and I am Becoming a BRICKHOUSE!!

The proposal was a surprise to me during COVID. DeAngelo had enlisted the help of one of my friends to look for the ring and conspired with our families to be present while he proposed to me at the Main (Norfolk, Va). Of course he asked my Dad first..lol.
