We met at Monmouth College, where we were both art majors who always seemed to cross paths. It started with casual breakfasts in the caf and small conversations in class, and eventually we realized we were spending more and more time in each other’s orbit. We even lived in the same dorm — she was on the second floor and I was on the third — but never expected how close we’d become. One night, we ended up hanging out in my room, just talking about everything and nothing. Somewhere between laughter and stories, she kissed me — and from there, everything changed. We stayed up all night side by side, holding hands, talking until the sun came up. After a quick nap and a breakfast date, we simply never stopped showing up for each other. Since 2015, we’ve been two peas in a pod: always in sync, always hyping each other up, always looking out for one another. We bonded early over tacos, but it’s our love, friendship, and easy connection that made “us” feel effortless. And now, we can’t wait to celebrate the next chapter with the people who have been cheering us on from the beginning.
