Question

I heard the wedding plans changed—what’s different?

Answer

Yes! We made a slight change to our plans. We will officially be getting married at the courthouse in a private ceremony. Our wedding celebration has been pushed out a year to August 8, 2026. This will now be a reception-only event, where we can enjoy food, drinks, and dancing with all of you! The location remains the same, and we can't wait to celebrate with our loved ones.

Question

What are the wedding day details?

Answer

We’re celebrating our love with an unforgettable evening of music, food, dancing, and community! While we will have a private courthouse ceremony, our wedding celebration will take place on August 8, 2026, at the Historic DeKalb Courthouse. We’re bringing together our family and friends for a grand time, and we can’t wait to celebrate with you! Stay tuned for more details.

Question

Will we get formal invitations?

Answer

Yes, we plan on sending out a new Save The Date before the end of 2025!

Question

Can we bring kids?

Answer

Kids are welcome, but not required! We love the babies and they are more than welcome to join us in celebrating our day. However, we understand that arranging childcare or bringing them along can be a challenge. If it's easier for you to attend without them, we completely understand and support that choice!

Question

Are there accommodations for out of state guests?

Answer

We are arranging a hotel block within walking distance of the venue for those who request it in their RSVP. A booking link will be provided on our website, coming in Spring 2025.

Question

Is there a wedding registry?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift of all! We are gratefully accepting donations in place of a traditional registry. While we welcome any gifts, please keep in mind that we’ll need to fly back to Washington and have limited space for transporting items. If you'd like to send something directly to our home, feel free to reach out, and we'll gladly share our address.
