We met in June of 2016 while working at a warehouse in Union City, Ca. At first glance I thought to myself “Oh ok he’s kinda cute”! Tyrrell initiated a conversation with a simple “Hi, how you doing? What’s your name? I smiled at him and greeted him back and continued to work. We innocently flirted back and forth for a few days. Tyrrell took the initiative and invited me over to watch The Oakland Warriors Play offs game. Even though I could careless about Basketball, I definitely agreed because he was so handsome. We actually had a great time enjoying each other’s company. We laughed and talked about a little every, just trying to get to know each other. I can say that he was actually the perfect gentleman. Once the game ended I didn’t hesitate to say im leaving. He asked, where i was going? I told him i’m going out tonight! He asked where?’ with who? I said, i dont know where and I’m going by myself. I asked if he would like to come with me? He declined and said he doesn’t go out. I was like ok, well im gone, I’ll see you at work on Monday. I proceeded to leave out and Tyrrell changed his mind and reply “Ok, I want to go with you!” I went home and got my life together real quick, called my Friend Sonya. “ I told her that i wanted to go on a date with a friend I met at work, and can you please watch MySir? She agreed! We had a ball that night. I took him to a club Downtown Oakland called Karibbean city and we danced all night like we was 17 at a old school house party! After that night we spent everyday, and the months to follow together. We did more in a short few months that most couples haven’t done in years. And that’s how we were blessed with Nimari Vance Butler. I was blessed to be able to give Tyrrell his first and only child. I fell in Love with him watching him with our son, and he is an amazing father! Throughout the years we have become a family, Tyrrell has always respected and acknowledged MySir, Demitrius, and Rahsaan as his son’s. He is a very positive Father figure to our Family. Fast Forward to September 4,2022 Las Vegas Beacation. Tyrrell took me to the Botanical Gardens inside the Bellagio Casino Hotel and the man of my dreams asked me “To be his Wife”! I was so shocked… I couldn’t even speak and just started to cry like a Big Ole Baby. It Took a moment to put my words together but I definitely said “YES”!!! Im marrying my King on 10•2•2022. We wanted to have all our families and friends to witness us take our vows to God and one another and celebrate our Union. Thank you all for loving us, supporting us, praying for us, and wanting to see us havea long future togetherness. We Love you all and cant wait to see EVERYONE on our Wedding Day.
