On New Year's Eve, a sense of adventure sparked within us, and we impulsively, or what I thought was impulsively, decided to take a drive to the Country Club Plaza to enjoy the ambiance of the Christmas lights. When we arrived we hopped out of the car and took a stroll down to one of our favorite spots on the plaza, the Valencia Grand Staircase. Together we sat on the steps taking in the scenery and reminiscing about our past year. We stood up to call it a night and Ryan turned and asked a lovely couple to take a photo of us to commemorate the evening. As I turned to retrieve my phone Ryan took my hands and got down on one knee. I screamed and shouted "Yes!" as the the crowd on the plaza cheered us on. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you soon!
