A Promised Joy

Once upon a time, there was an app called Houseparty—and that’s where our love story began, back in high school. We dated for a little while, until college separated us. I went off to school in a small town in Iowa. Throughout those four years, distance never separated our friendship. We stayed in close touch, especially during COVID. Once college was over, I somehow found my way to the vibrant city of Nashville, where I asked this beautiful bride to grab a burger at The Pharmacy (she doesn’t even like burgers). She agreed, of course! Two years later, through the grace of our Lord and Savior, we’ve been able to watch our love truly flourish!
