- A valid passport is required for all international travelers. - U.S. citizens do not need a visa for short stays in Spain (up to 90 days). - Zimbabwean citizens require a Schengen visa to enter Spain for short stays (tourism, business, or family visits) and must apply for it in advance at a Spanish embassy or consulate (https://www.exteriores.gob.es/Embajadas/harare/en/ServiciosConsulares/Paginas/Consular/Visados-Schengen.aspx). - For those traveling from anywhere else, please check with your local Embassy or Consulate for Visa requirements & related information.
Guests should book flights to Barcelona–El Prat Airport (BCN), which is the closest major airport to the wedding venue and accommodations.
We recommend arriving at least two days before the wedding to adjust to the time zone and enjoy the city before the celebrations start. Welcome Event will be on 10/14/2026 at 6:00 PM.
Taxis and rideshares are available, and private transfers can be arranged upon request through PurpleLux Vacations. The hotel is an 8-minute drive from the airport.
Yes! There will be optional group activity during the week to explore Barcelona — details will be shared closer to the wedding date.
Expect fall weather, We recommend bringing a light jacket for the evenings.
Children are welcome if they’ve been included in your RSVP headcount.
If your plus one is included in your RSVP headcount, they’re welcome to attend. For guests who weren’t initially given a plus one, we’ll review RSVPs and provide updates in March once we have final confirmations to see if additional guests can be accommodated.
Semi-Formal: Tuxes and gowns are welcome, and so are suits and cocktail dresses.

We’ve arranged round-trip wedding shuttles from the Hyatt Regency Barcelona Tower. Guests will be picked up directly from the hotel and transported to Castell de Tamarit, and the shuttles will bring everyone back at the end of the night. More details to follow. If you choose to stay at a different hotel, please plan to meet at the Hyatt Regency Barcelona Tower for shuttle service to the venue.
