Updated 12/29 - As of today, the COVID situation looks very good in Lima. Proof of vaccination is required to enter into any restaurant, hotel, store, etc. Double masks are also required both indoors and outdoors (although most people wear 1 outdoors). Lima's vaccination rate is 85%+. Basically... they are doing far better than we are in the United States.
Glad you asked! We highly recommend taking probiotics daily the month before to strengthen your stomach. Keep in mind, the cuisine and ingredients are different than in the US so it will take some time to adjust. Take it slow! Also, as is the case with many countries, avoid drinking the tap water.
