What will the weather be like?

Early March is still the heart of summer in Lima. Expect average highs of 79 and average lows of 68 degrees.

Answer
To allow all guests to relax and enjoy themselves, we have chosen to make our wedding weekend an adults-only affair. This way you can let your hair down and won't have a set bedtime! If you need assistance finding a babysitter, we can certainly help you do so.

Do you accommodate for special diets?
Answer
Yes, we will have gluten free and vegan options available. Peruvian (and Persian) weddings don't do a traditional sit-down dinner. Instead, expect buffets with a variety of food that you can enjoy all night.

Will transportation be provided to the wedding venue?

Yes, transportation will be provided to and from the JW Marriott to the venue. More details to come.

How is COVID looking?

Updated 12/29 - As of today, the COVID situation looks very good in Lima. Proof of vaccination is required to enter into any restaurant, hotel, store, etc. Double masks are also required both indoors and outdoors (although most people wear 1 outdoors). Lima's vaccination rate is 85%+. Basically... they are doing far better than we are in the United States.

How should I prepare for this trip?
Answer
Glad you asked! We highly recommend taking probiotics daily the month before to strengthen your stomach. Keep in mind, the cuisine and ingredients are different than in the US so it will take some time to adjust. Take it slow! Also, as is the case with many countries, avoid drinking the tap water.
