They met at Laney College while doing a production of Jon Tracy's "In the Wound" which was a modern day adaptation of The Iliad. Jake played Achilles and Jessica played Prince Hector. For those who are unfamiliar with the Iliad, Achilles kills Hector. Hence, why they say that their relationship was "love at first fight"!
