“And Allah Created You In Pairs”

Rahim and Nafisah met when they were about 15 years old. Growing up with the teachings of the Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad under the Guidance of the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan, the two innocently engaged with one another throughout their adolescent years through mosque meetings, high school graduations, prom send offs, study groups, and community service endeavors. During the historic 10.10.15 (Justice or Else) rally, called by the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan, both Nafisah and Rahim worked together as Local Organizing committee members to bring buses of Kean and Rutgers students to attend the legendary movement. Though it would be years later till they would both know they were being guided towards one another, these interactions developed the light of family, friendship, support, care, honesty, trust, and dependability. It would be unjust to say this sacred engagement with destiny started at 15. As members of the Nation of Islam, both parents of the groom and bride have known each other for quite some time. This laid the foundation for the bride and groom’s journey of becoming one. Nafisah and Rahim occasionally checked in on one another over the years, but it wasn’t until much later that they realized they could possibly have a future together. The courtship process began and in December of 2022, they became engaged. All Praise is due to Allah!
