The MLK Memorial is just a 5 minute walk from the ceremony venue. You'll have a little extra time between the ceremony and cocktail hour if you'd like to visit while you're in the area.

National Museum of African American History and Culture

Black Lives Matter Plaza

BLM Plaza is just a 9 minute drive from the ceremony venue. You'll have a little extra time between the ceremony and cocktail hour if you'd like to visit while you're in the area.

Washington Monument

The Washington Monument is just a 4 minute drive/12 minute walk from the ceremony venue. You'll have a little down time between the ceremony and cocktail hour, if you'd like to visit while you're in the area.

Blue Moon Too

This is nowhere near Washington DC or Alexandria, but it is one of our favorite breakfast spots. If you do decide to go, we highly recommend the Sin Roll, Sweet Baby Jesus, and/or the Captain Crunch French Toast. You can also bring your own champagne for mimosas!

Redstone American Grill

This is one of our favorite semi-casual restaurants in the National Harbor/Alexandria area (aside from Blackwall Hitch of course).
