Will there be any alcohol served at the reception?

Sorry, this is a dry wedding as most of our guests do not drink. However, mocktails and other non-alcoholic beverages will be served.

Do I have to wear desi/south asian clothing?

Answer

No, black-tie is perfectly acceptable.

Will the ceremony be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

If weather permits, the nikkah ceremony will be outdoors on the grounds of the Mansion at Oyster Bay.

Yes, valet services will be provided.

Are there hotel accommodations nearby if I am flying in?

Answer

Yes, we do not have a hotel block since most of our guests are local, but here are some recommendations near the venue: The Inn at Fox Hollow, Surestay Plus by Best Western Woodbury Inn, Holiday Inn Plainview, Viana Hotel and Spa If you plan on staying in the city, it may be best to rent a car for the day.
