Tim and I knew each other years prior to us dating. We met through a mutual friend, but the timing wasn't right. Fast forward we ran into each other again at a football party hosted at a bar that he was managing. We saw each other that night and it seemed right. The next day we texted all day and talked all the way home from work. I'll never forget us laughing because my phone lost signal and I called him back a few times, not realizing the phone wasn't ringing on my end but was ringing on his end and he said, "oh you're one of those"? Implying That I was a stalker. LOL but little did I know I would never forget the first time we started messaging and talking, not knowing it would be the beginning of the most amazing love. That was 2013, since then we've been inseparable, dinners, dates, trips and just loving on each other. April 2022, we decided it was "time' we bought our house and built a home together. Yearly thereafter we hosted a Labor Day cookout. Last year seemed the same to me, however I had no idea he was planning to propose. We decided that this cookout would be small, but he kept insisting upon inviting all of these people, so I just let him run with it. With the help of the township fire department, police and about 60 of our friends, and family he asked me to be his wife. I was lost for words and even said "are you serious'? I was presented on one knee with the most beautiful ring I've ever seen and of course I said yes. Our story is a perfect example of God's timing. Ecclesiastes 3:1- "There is a time for everything, and a season for everything under heaven".
