Originally met in 2009, through mutual friends. At that time they were not fond of each other. In 2020, they attended a gathering where a deeper connection was felt. Days later, Canadra was having a live rant on Facebook and Joseph joined to debate her. The next day they have a 7-hour phone conversation/debate pertaining to relationships, ending with Joseph shocking Canadra by asking her out on a date. Days later they went on a first day to Books A Million and have been building together ever since.

After celebrating 4th of July and enjoying family, Canadra left to grab some quick dinner. I already had the moment set with my Mom being in town. I wanted to make sure she was involved in the moment. When Canadra returned I was ready for her to be with me forever.
