Celebrate with Us!

Our story began on May 21st 2016 in San Diego. We both knew we liked each other from the start. Once we saw each other's dorky smiles it was a done deal. After seeing a movie we didn't want the date to be over so we decided to go to see the San Diego Padres play. The next day we decided to go on a romantic hike around Torrey Pines which turned into a 3 hour adventure. We have been inseparable ever since. After a failed attempt of proposing on a trip in Las Vegas where Nadja didn't take him serious, Mikal got on one knee on July 22nd 2017. She still thought he wasn't being serious and told him to shut up and sit down. However, once he got the ring out she was speechless. Mikal asked if Nadja was going to answer him and once she found her voice again she said yes! We were both so happy and even more in love. With a deployment around the corner we decided not to wait and got married at the courthouse downtown San Diego. On September 22nd 2017 Nadja and Mikal tied the knot surrounded by friends and family. It was a wonderful day and we were so grateful to have people with us to share this day with. While Mikal is sailing around the world Nadja is planning "another" wedding. This time we are hoping to have all our friends and families there to celebrate with us.
