The world had hit pause, and every plan - big or small - was suddenly canceled. Including the ones that would’ve kept Nadine and Jussi from ever meeting. Jussi was packing goggles for summer camp in the U.S. Nadine was searching for roommates in Australia. The chances of them crossing paths? Slim to none. Then - boom - everything shut down. Or… maybe everything was falling into place. With uni going remote and Australia on hold, Nadine moved back to Luxembourg and agreed to help at her sister’s workplace, where Jussi was already working and getting teased about the “single and ready to mingle” sister about to join the team. He brushed it off. Too young, he told himself. Definitely off-limits… right? Then they met. Masks on. Sparks flying.

And thank goodness he did because that little parking lot moment turned into everything. Two weeks later, they were soaking up the sun in Mijas ice cream in hand, falling in love.
