We’re getting married!

We met at a bar in downtown Los Angeles on a Sunday evening three years ago in January. A DJ played deep house music and there was a smallish burning man crowd. We were each there with our friends. I hadn't seen him all night but apparently he saw me when I walked in the door. After a few hours, I was ready to leave but my friends insisted we stay for at least 30 more minutes. I said, "Okay but we have to dance for the rest of the time!” Juliano appeared at the edge of the dance floor. He was on vacation in LA, escaping the East Coast winter. We caught each other's eye and quickly started chatting, he bought me a drink and we moved onto the dance floor. This was the beginning of an amazing journey —two blissful weeks in Los Angeles, a year of long distance, one cross country move — and now three years later, almost to the day we met, we are getting married!
