Nadine had worked alongside Jonah’s mother at River Pines Elementary for a couple of years, occasionally crossing paths. It wasn't until Jonah returned from the Army to help his mother move into her new classroom for the year that Nadine caught interest. They went on their first date in Midtown & have been inseparable ever since.

We had a date set at POST Houston where we dressed up. I (Nadine) had a feeling that something was up as we drove to POST in silence and sat at the bar talking about pre-season football (Jonah & I could care less about football). We walked to the rooftop of POST Houston where I was surprised with roses and a ring by the skyline. We were both speechless.
