We are getting married !!

We happened to meet coincidentally at a friend's party while we were both on vacation back home in Lebanon. It kind of started when he glared at me accross the room with a smile on his face. Then he moved and sat by my side saying that “the weather is much cooler on that side of the balcony”. You could say "love at first sight". Although we did not get to exchange numbers or contact information that day, Georges played detective and contacted me through Facebook that same night. So we made plans and decided to hang out and tour around Lebanon together. His goal was to take me to places in Lebanon that I have not seen before. Our first date with a full day at Tyre. Long story short, we played tourists in Lebanon since we were both visiting. Then you could say that we fell in love and felt the connection growing up until this day where we decided to get married and ‘tie the knot’.

Last minute, Georges told Nadine that he won gift certificates to the only 5 diamonds restaurant in the ottawa area. He said that the certificate expires the night of, so we had to go try it out. Once we both got to Le Baccara, we were both amazed by the ambiance! After enjoying a delicious dinner, the server took us to a private room for dessert. This is when the surprise came on. The family along with a friend playing the accordion came into the restaurant playing the beat to “habibit albi”. In the meantime, the butler came in and served us ‘the desert’, and he uncovered the cover dome and exposed a jewelry box. Right then, Georges immediately stood up and started unbuttoning his dress shirt to reveal a T-shirt underneath that says: “Nadine, will you marry me?” "After Nadine said yes" and signed the shirt (Yes, he made her sign it 😂), Georges got down on one knee and placed the ring on her finger!!!!! #shesaidyes The next day, another surprise party was planned for Nadine. Georges also did an awesome job with creating an amazingly cute video that summarized their whole relationship.
