Question

By when should we RSVP?

Answer

Please RSVP by 1 February 2026 - the sooner , the better as this will assist in the planning of seating, catering etc etc.

Why do you not have a registry?

Answer

We are mindful that almost all our guests would be required to travel from both near and far, this on its own is an expense and your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift - no gifts are expected, should you wish to gift us, you are welcome to but we want to encourage our guests to feel no pressure whatsoever.

Is there a cash bar?

Answer

We will be providing our guests with a wide variety of alcoholic beverages such as wine, champagne, whiskey, gin and brandy. Should you have an alternative beverage preference, there will be a cash bar available with more options to choose from.

What is the dress code?

Where do you suggest we stay if travelling?

Answer

Please see the "Travel" tab I have created with links of suggested beautiful hotels as well as airbnb's in and around the Salt Rock/Ballito area.

Can I bring my child?

We kindly request an adults-only celebration. We hope you enjoy a night off to celebrate with us!

Can I bring a +1?

Answer

We wish we could celebrate with everyone, but we're keeping it intimate and are only able to accommodate guests specifically named on the invitation.

Are there Ubers?

Answer

Ubers are not as "readily available" as what they are in JHB,PE or Cape Town. If you are planning to Uber to the venue, make sure to request your Uber well in advance. Despite Ballito/Salt Rock being a holiday town, Ubers are unfortunately scarce. Plan accordingly.

What time should I arrive at the venue?

Please see the "schedule" tab for a detailed order of day. Guests to arrive at 14:00, ceremony to start at 14:30 sharp. Please do not be late, rather early than late.

What if I have dietary restrictions?

Please let us know on your RSVP response via the wedding website - we will do our best to accommodate you.

May I put in a song request?

Answer

The short & sweet answer is NO. We have carefully selected DJ's and their style based on what we as a couple enjoy. Yes we will try our best to accommodate everyone and their music taste but no song requests will be allowed.

Are we allowed to take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

Absolutely, a QR code will be provided on the day where you will be able to share any photos from the day with us - using the QR code link. If you dont already know - the Bride loves photos!

Can I smoke/vape?

Answer

Please note that the smoking of cannabis is not permitted on the premises (instructions from venue management). The smoking of cigarettes and vapes are only allowed outside at the allocated smoking area.
