FAQs

The Wedding Website of Nadine Berns and Caleb Lee
you guys mean the world to us and after 9 years, 3 dogs, 1 lizard, countless moves, 2 years of fixing up our home, we are so excited to slow down and celebrate our love with the people that have encouraged, guided, supported, and helped us along the way.
Question

Will we be invited to the ceremony?

Answer

Unfortunately no, as much as we would love to have everyone, we are going to do a private vow exchange with our parents and siblings the morning before celebrations.

Question

So you guys are having a reception?

Answer

YES. We would love to have everyone there for a nice dinner celebrating our nuptials at a place we reserved. Cake cutting, speeches and just chillin and eating good with all our loved ones.

Question

What is the significance of September 29th? Why can't I just buy you a beer when you get back in town?

Answer

Woah woah woah, party pooper. First of all, it's New Orleans. It's pure magic, and we are so overjoyed you're going to be apart of the celebration part of our weekend. Secondly, you will have to wait til 2024 to buy me a beer on the next Harvest Moon because it just wouldn't be the same which brings me to the significance of September 29th, The Harvest Moon, the second to last full moon of the year, and we are excited to soak in the love and laughter under the night sky with all of yall.

Question

Will there be other festivities for the weekend?

Answer

We are planning a welcome dinner September 28th, Thursday. September 29th will be our reception. September 30th, we would love to hang but it's a free for all on hangin in the city and discovering new places. We do plan to chill on frenchmen and listen to jazz + get drinks during the evening those nights too, for whoever can join.

Question

Alright, Alright, Alright, I'm sold, but I've got kids to think about on this trip, so ideas?

Answer

New Orleans has sooo much history it's insane. From the guided tours that talk about the lore of ghosts, witches and vampires to the cemetery tours, and you will always be a stones throw away from a museum of some sorts. Not to mention the zoos and the walks along the Mississippi River and all the cool food to try which brings us to our things to do page of places I've carefully curated. :)

Question

Do you guys have a color preference for Sept 29th festivities or wedding colors?

Answer

Nope! Just semi formal! :) pls, no jeans!!!

Question

Are there going to be hotel blocks?

Answer

Visit the travel section on the site, hotel block is available there.
