Flight
Mexico City has two airports. We recommend MEX (Aeropuerto Internacional de la Ciudad de Mexico) because its closer to the city and the recommended hotels. Most international flights will fly to this airport. When you land we recommend taking any of their airport taxis to your hotel instead of an Uber as they are very reliable.
House Or Rental
Remember Airbnb or Sonder have great and even more affordable options but to be safe (not sorry) make sure you stay in these neighborhoods: • Polanco • Condesa • Roma Norte. These neighborhoods are close to sightseeing places and the wedding venue. They're also quite safe to walk around.
Travel Note
Public transit ok? Nope! We strongly advise against taking public transit due to safety concerns. How do I get around? Uber is an incredibly easy, cheap and convenient option just make sure you double check the license plate listed on the car! What about a cab? We recommend ONLY taking cabs if they are ordered directly from a hotel. Please note from the airport it is safe to grab a taxi, however, please make sure you order your cab from a licensed kiosk stand.
Travel Note
You can get a SIM card at any of the OXXO convenience stores around the city (the local seven eleven). They will give you a SIM card for Telcel with is one of the largest telecoms in Mexico.
