How should I get to Legoli/Peccioli?

Answer

Legoli and Peccioli are in the heart of the Tuscan countryside, about halfway between Pisa and Florence. The closest airports are: -Pisa International Airport (PSA) – approx. 45 minutes by car -Florence International Airport (FLR) – approx. 1 hour by car The nearest train station is Pontedera–Casciana Terme, located about 25 minutes from Peccioli by car. Trains run regularly between Pontedera and both Pisa and Florence, making it a convenient option for those arriving by train. The easiest and most flexible way to reach Peccioli is still by renting a car, as public transportation is limited and taxis are not always readily available in the countryside. If you prefer not to drive, private taxis or transfers can be arranged in advance. As a guideline, a taxi from Pisa Airport to Peccioli typically costs around €80–100, and from Florence Airport around €120–150, depending on the company and time of day. To help coordinate transfers and possibly group guests to share cars, we kindly ask that you share your arrival and departure details with us once you’ve booked your travel. This will allow us to assist with pairing guests and making the journey smoother for everyone.

We highly recommend renting a car. To help us, please make sure to complete the guest form so we know where you are staying and can help with logistics. Peccioli is a small town with a few restaurants and cafés within walking distance, making it easy to explore on foot. If you’d like to discover more of the beautiful Tuscany region during your stay, we highly recommend renting a car, as public transportation in the countryside is limited and taxis can be scarce.
