Admission to this farm is free and it is a 5 minute walk from the Spring House.
Trek down the 141 rickety stairs to get to the most secluded beach on Block Island! We recommend renting a bike to get there.
Walk down Water Street which is the "main drag" of the Block Island town, and find shops, bars and restaurants all along the water front. This is also the area where the ferry comes in and a brief walk from the Spring House.
The Oar is a bit of a walk (or bike or cab) from the Spring House, but is definitely worth checking out if you have time! It is a casual restaurant overlooking the bay and offers cornhole outside and incredible cocktails.
Go to Mahogany Shoals (Also known as Payn'es dock) for a mudslide- you won't regret it! What appears to be an outdoor bar on a dock, also makes some of the best drinks on the island. Prepare for a more rowdy, rough around the edges crowd. They also have live music at night! Mahogany Shoals is located right near The Oar.
Take a walk or ride a bike to the Southeast Lighthouse for some great views and a cool tour of a historic lighthouse.
Mansion Beach marks the north end of what’s known as Crescent Beach, and is generally less crowded. It also has bigger waves than the areas around Fred Benson Town Beach, making it good for body surfing and beach combing. To get there, travel about three miles down Corn Neck Road, and look for a dirt road on the right with a Mansion Beach Road sign. Follow it to the end, and you’ll find a large parking area, built around the foundation of the old mansion, with a short path the beach. No mopeds are allowed on the dirt road.
