Dress Code

Step into the realm! This is a fantasy-inspired D&D and Renaissance faire-style wedding, and we invite all our guests to dress the part. Think adventurers, elves, woodland folk, or noble guests of the realm—tunics, cloaks, flowing dresses, belts, and boots are all welcome. Bring your D&D character to life or marvel in your medieval lifestyle with much better living conditions! While creativity is encouraged, please avoid wearing white (that’s reserved for the bride) and steer clear of overly revealing or modern costumes to keep the magic alive. Whether you go all out or just add a subtle touch, your outfit helps bring the world to life!
Question

Do I have to wear a costume?

Answer

Not at all! Think of it more as fantasy-inspired attire. If you feel like an elven ranger, a woodland witch, a dashing bard, or even just a traveler from a medieval realm - you’re doing it right.

Question

What should I wear to the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony is outdoors on uneven ground, so choose footwear that’s comfortable (no stilettos, brave adventurer). Outfits with a touch of magic - like cloaks, flowing fabrics, rich colors, or leather belts - fit perfectly with the theme.

Question

Is there a dress code for the Friday welcome event?

Answer

Yes, but it’s casual and fun! Think cozy tavern vibes - tunics, cloaks, comfy dresses, or just earthy tones with a fantasy twist. No need to go all out (unless you want to).

Question

What about the reception or after party?

Answer

Come as you are from the ceremony or add a little sparkle if you like! Dancing-friendly shoes and layers are a good idea.
