Things To Do
Balboa Park
We sat in some grass in Balboa Park for our first date. While sitting in grass is great, there are many great things to see here! There is a great photographic arts museum, art museum, science museum, and many others.
Cantina Mayahuel
Nadia brought Cantina Mayahuel's margarita's for their first date and they are still a favorite! Try their chips and guac (truly incredible), a house margarita, and a ceasar salad. They have great Taco's too!
The Friendly
This burger is what Nadia brought for dinner after losing several rounds of backgammon to Soysal.
Torrey Pines State Natural Reserve
Nadia and Soysal came here many times while living in Del Mar, the cliffs along the beach are gorgeous, but make sure to time it for low tide!
The Taco Stand
Get the mar-y-tierra burrito. While Soysal was living downtown, the downtown location was a staple for Nadia and Soysal.
Mission Trails Regional Park
Nadia and Soysal went for many hikes here while training for Mt. Whitney. If we are lucky, there will be wildflowers blooming while everyone is in town!
Embarcadero
Nadia and Soysal would go for runs on the embarcadero. Nadia also used to work on the northern side of it at Solar Turbines. There are lots of cute restaurants you can go to as well some historic boats to see!
Silver Strand State Beach
Rent a bike and go along silver strand state beach! Nadia and Soysal did this on one of their earlier dates.
