Nadia and Rachel met in an environmental studies class at Randolph College. They played softball together until the spring of 2019 and developed a strong friendship through the end of the school year. Their first date was seeing a movie and dinner at Ivy Creek Park in May of 2019. After graduation, they visited each other during the summer months and became more attached to each other as time progressed.

In July of 2022, Nadia and Rachel traveled to Hampton with their close group of friends for a concert. Nadia dropped to her knee during the show and presented Rachel with a glowing ring. Her phone was held up with the words "Will you marry me?" Rachel said yes, and the two embraced with their surprised friends cheering around them. Nadia and Rachel are so excited to celebrate with all their loved ones in Lynchburg! See you in April 2024!
